This Privacy Policy explains how Rolync Corp., a Delaware corporation (“we”, “us”), collects, uses, and shares information when you use Rolync (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name and email address (via email/password sign-up or Google sign-in).
• Profile information — the background, work preferences, stack, and locations you enter to drive sourcing and personalization.
• Usage data — how many companies you source, your plan, and basic logs (including IP address and device/browser information) needed to operate and secure the Service.
• Payment information — handled directly by Stripe; we do not store your full card details. We receive limited billing metadata (e.g. plan, subscription status).

2. How we use information

• To provide the Service: match and source companies, research and score them, and draft outreach.
• To manage your account, plan, and billing.
• To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset, account notices).
• To maintain security, prevent abuse, improve the Service, and comply with law.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, including:

• Stripe — payment processing;
• Google — optional sign-in (OAuth);
• Resend — transactional email delivery;
• Voyage AI — text embeddings used for matching;
• Firecrawl — retrieving public web data during research;
• our hosting/infrastructure providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users, and, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the acquiring entity subject to this Policy.

4. Passwords & security

Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes (bcrypt) — never in plain text. Your API key is stored only as a hash. Data is transmitted over TLS and stored on industry-standard cloud infrastructure with access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect your data and will notify you of significant incidents as required by law.

5. Cookies & sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in to the dashboard. We do not use third-party advertising cookies and do not run targeted advertising.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your account, after which we delete or anonymize your personal data except where we must retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

7. Your rights

You can access and update your profile in the dashboard, and request deletion of your account. Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, or to object to certain processing. 8. International transfers

We primarily operate in the United States. Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date above and, where appropriate, additional notice.
